It looks that some pics is from reality rather than touhou, like the D of sanae?
Those pics can be really.....strange, in my view.
After all, touhou is famos for its OWN beautiful pics,isn't it?
So, if possible, could you change them with other pics?
And also,some icons are too complex to see clearly, despite ist beauty...XD

Anyway, thanks for your efforts to improve DotS, and forgive my poor English, since I haven't communicated with any one who is a native speaker in English.
Hope your works can be added into DotS as soon as possible.

One or two Photoshop filters, and you won't see the difference between a photo and a picture, we'll see about that... Sanae's (F) is a different case, as it parodies the painting of the event, that is refered to by Zun in his spellcard.
Well, I've already said that - 1800x1200 wallpaper in 64x64 square looks strange, but I try to make it look good. I'm not a painter, after all.

You English is okay as long as I understand what you mean, guys. Funny to note - I'm not an english native speaker either...

I feel honoured. ^^

thanks for supporting such a great project after all
i am currently changing some of the icon which you have draw and posted
you will see reimu's first ability changed to your icons
and two items have been added to the map
the effects are similar to yours idea
but much more simple after balancing what the map actual needs
by the time 954a released , there will be more icons changed in

but unfortunately,
its always sad when talking about the maxium size of warcraft 3's map.
maximum of 8mb , and its already 7.85 MB at the latest, size accountable version.
(test version of 0.953d which already include new characters nue and 2 girls being keeping for secret before it released)
by when all your icons are inserted
there will be approximate 0.1mb overloaded but the map still needs new characters in
im quite sorry about that.

the possible way to make use of your icons is only changing some that are totally or mostly without relations of the ability
until the day when xxxxxxx Blizzard enlarge the file maximum size
(which i think it will never come as Blizzard is indulged in her money making business)

    Good news for me.

There's one thing I've already asked Charat about, but I still haven't  received an answer (I won't be surprised, if he suddenly appears and starts rumbling about it). About *.blp file format. As far as I know, it's a file format by Blizzard for importing images into editor. Converting my usual *.png into *blp will cut the size apparently by 30%, (50% for *.tga) and I can do it anytime I want. What can you say about it?

And besides. I've already said it - it's completely up to you to decide what to use and what to drop, I'll just make whatever I want and how much I want and post it here, unless I receive a special order from someone to make something. It will be honour for me to see a single picture of mine in this map.

I am not specialized in the file format
so far i knew about is only that two picture format is available in maps production as you say so
but for music or sound file, it can support most format including .midi (which actually out of my expectation) unless that kind of format is born later then war3 (ex: .ogg)

When cutting the size of .png to .blp , is about 12kb -> 8kb (30%) as you told it
but when a further compression we've usually done after we've finished a map, size will be further cut about 20%
[about touhou dots, it cuts from 9.91mb to 7.94mb in the latest version]
em... .tga format, as i remember, it may not be a blizzard file format but a usual game picture format. i am not quite sure

yep... you will see many of your pictures applied in this map soon.
it is much more than honour we can use it too

It is nice to finally see my name in the credit list and my pics in use. In a little unexpected way, but that's your deal. Most of them weren't polished enough to actually put them in use in my opinion - I didn't expect my item proposals to be taken in the first place.
Only one thing I see seems confusing - it's the item named "God's LEFT hand" with an icon of a RIGHT hand drawn on it. I got something wrong, didn't I? Michelangelo is curious too. Why not make a set *laugh*?

"神的右手" is "God's Right hand". nothing is wrong about it.

final outcome is that only two(counting in Grimoire is three) items are from yours idea. changing Kafziel in a much more funny way and left only the armour aura of crimson shade umbrella
verity will be added in soon but atleast December,
i think the outcome will be nothing different except the values
thats maybe a good news for you

by the way, not much people are opening the credit list even i forget to put my names up
i add yours names in with your motherland but in general, i better ask your decision before adding it

Strange, I've seen the word "Left" in a few sources already. Allright, never mind.

I'm not really sure, as I've abandoned my item proposals right after witnessing the reaction. Still I'd consider it good news.
Funny, I meant the pics you used, not the original items they were assigned to. They are rather raw, but I'll polish them. I didn't expect them to be used, you see?
You've put a lot more sense in thy Kafziel that I intended, nice work.
Thy Crimson Umbrella was originally made as a certain DotA item optimization, but it has already proved itself unneeded that way (ahem... Lifesteal...). The other version was designed considering the item's Touhou origins - a Spell Shell to actually cover you from something, be it sunlight or fireballs, but such item already exists, so I kept it for my own project. Finally, the last version you made. I think it lacks something. HP&MP bonus goes pretty well with the original intentions, but the final bonus is too bleak in my opinion.
Thy Verity... Don't know what to say... At least you called it "Verity", not "Hakurouken", thank you for that. I intentionally called it so.

The credits. You are right, pretty nobody presses F9 ingame to read something. At least I am glad. Leave it as it is, I don't really care about mentioning my motherland somewhere, but someone would surely find it funny.

Just tell me what pic you are intending to use next, so I can prepare it.
